Standards

Eden Boys’ School, Bolton’s sixth form will replicate the outstanding levels of achievement achieved at other Star sixth forms. It will have rigorous target setting and performance management systems for all activities. These will be kept under constant review by the Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body.

Each student will have a personalised learning plan designed to challenge and support them. Behaviour and attendance will also be monitored carefully and early action taken to address any areas where any concerns emerge.

Parents will also have a key role to play in ensuring their sons achieve their potential. They will receive half-termly report cards. They will be required to attend performance review meetings which will cover their sons’ academic progress, attendance and behaviour. The sessions will also set challenging, but realistic, targets for the boys.
